What a beautiful day today... we made the most of it and had a walk at our nearest beach.  It was t-shirt weather and families were picnicking and even had barbecues (which was torture for Harry!)  we are so lucky to have this to go to with only a 20 minute drive.  After a leisurely stroll we had coffee sitting on a terrace facing the beach basking in the sun and listening to the waves.  That 2 hours was as good as a weeks holiday!  Back to the sewing machine now!  Hope you are having similar weather and a relaxing weekend x

  1. Wonderful. Harry doesn't seem much taken with the sea... must be difficult to keep his ears dry if he goes paddling..

  4. How lovely that warmish weather has arrived....at last... in your li'l corner of the world. Walking along a beach is the best way one can spend an idyllic couple of hours. Your Harry is one cute, cute doggity dog. Lovely photos, Julie....here's hoping that you have a warm, sun-filled week!!

  6. Sounds and looks wonderful Julie - but poor Harry smelling the BBQ and not able to participate, it must have been awfully difficult for him! Joy x

  10. It's been glorious hasn't it. The Mr had a few days holiday from work last week so we got to get out and enjoy the sun too. Not on such a lovely beach though.
