Sorry everyone, full on Christmas decorations as it's all I'm making at the moment and the only photos I've taken this week!  I've been a bit missing in action, but have just caught up with all your blogs and it's so lovely to see all the gorgeous creative stuff as well as just everyday life.

I'm down to one child at home at the moment... George (middle son) has gone off travelling round eastern europe for a couple of months and with Chris (eldest) working in China that just leaves poor Ben at home.  It really is quiet and rather sad.  Harry follows me everywhere, desperately hoping I'm not the next to disappear!

We're also having to do the University Open Day rounds again,  3rd time and getting a bit boring now as we've seen them all before.  I took Ben to UEA in Norwich last week, which he loved and I secretly hope he chooses as it's only an hour away by train and I can pop up and see him!  He's gone off to Warwick this morning with my husband so I'll hear all about that tonight.

After that horrendous drop in temperature last week (almost 20 degrees!) it is supposed to warm up again this weekend, just as I had put all my summer things away and got my boots out!

Happy weekend everyone, hope the weather is good where you are and look forward to seeing what you've all been up to x

    1. Thank you and did you notice the clock always says 9:15 on the photos... it stopped about 6 months ago and we can't get it started again, but like the clock so much we've left it there! Jx

  4. Ooohh, Christmas - I can feel the excitement already! Do love the Scottie dogs.
It must feel very strange when off-spring start to fly the nest. I'm dreading that day and like you hope my girls are not too far away so I can easily go and visit. Helen x

  6. It must be bittersweet to have them all leaving now but it sounds like you have a good attitude about it. Your decorations are all very cute but I really love the little dogs!

    1. I'm not sure abut the good attitude, I felt quite tearful on Wednesday when George went off and was heard saying 'I wish they were still little and in bed by 8 O'Clock so I knew where they were!' Jx

  7. OOh, just love that Christmas bunting! Good luck with the Uni hunt - if he ends up at Warwick, you would just have to come along to one of our Midlands bloggy tea-parties too when you visit him ;-)
Loving the mild Autumn temps here too,
    happy weekend,
