I love living in Suffolk, the countryside is fabulous, although we could do with more hills! But most of all I love living so near to the coast.  If I don't walk by the sea at least every month I start to get a bit antsy. I find it really relaxing listening to the waves and the noise of the stones being dragged back with the tide.  I came back from a walk at nearby Felixstowe on Thursday and was inspired to sew some new seaside themed cards.  More to come next week!  Happy weekend everyone x

  1. The new cards are lovely. I love the sea too but I think hills would have to go higher on my list. Juliex

    1. I must admit when we came back from Yorkshire I missed the hilly landscape, but the call of water always wins! Jx

  2. I'm like you, Julie, I love to be near the coast and where we live now is the closest we've ever been to the sea and I love it! I don't enjoy the North Sea winds though - BBbbbrr!
These cards are fabulous - I particularly like the boards - Helen x

  3. Thanks Helen. We get North Sea winds too unfortunately, but on a still day there's nowhere better is there Jx

  4. I'm about half an hour from the sea, not so far really. I love walking on the coastal path, up on the cliffs looking down at the waves crashing below.

I love your new cards Julie. x

  8. I'd take Yorkshire hills....although the sea does come a very close second. Sadly, all I get is a busy part of Kent sandwiched between railway lines and motorways! (there are nice bits of Kent, I should add, I just don't live in one of them). Lovely cards. Bethx (thelinencat)
