Spring!

What a lovely weekend.  The weather has warmed up and yesterday was really sunny.  It makes me feel so much better.  I spent time in the garden looking at what has survived from last year and everything is shooting well, my rhubarb is coming up well already.  I brought the sunshine in with the lovely cream tulips.  I learnt last week from a friend that if you put a pin through the stalk just under the flower it stops them from drooping.  I tried it, and it really works (am I the last person to know this?!)

Thank you to Beth over at the Linen Cat for her lovely comments about Claude, it's lovely when people say nice things isn't it?!

Apart from a little bit of gardening and a bit of baking I had time to make a few more bunnies!  I am surrounded now!  Let's hope the weather stays dry and sunny this week x

    1. It's even better today, whilst hanging washing out I just stood and tried to absorb the warmth - it feels great doesn't it. Jx

    1. Thank you Annie, I think I need to practice my knitting so that they can have tiny shawls like the one you made for the red nose dolls! Jx

  3. Finally, finally the sun has reached us too. Lovely day out in the garden today.

I didn't know about the pin either. Do you leave it in or is the hole sufficient?

    1. Just make a hole and take the pin out, I'm glad I wasn't the only one to not know this. Such a good tip isn't it! Jx
