Let it Snow!

Firstly, let me apologise to everybody who has had to travel in it and have hassle with it, but I had a lovely day in it yesterday. Harry and I enjoyed a walk in a winter wonderland, fat flakes falling around us, it was beautiful.  Unfortunately the light wasn't great for photos when I took some of the garden, but you get the idea

I love the garden in the summer when it's full of life, but I also love it when it's covered in a blanket of snow.

I spent the afternoon in front of a burning fire and made myself a cover for my kindle.  It is so rare that I actually make something for myself and I love this fabric.

We are dog sitting today for another basset, and they are currently crashed out after wrestling in the snow for an hour!  Keep warm and safe everybody, looking forward to seeing everyone's snowy photos. Julie x

  1. I do like the fabric on the kindle cover.

No snowy pictures from here, sadly. When I went to bed last night they were forecasting heavy snow for Friday, but this morning it's been changed to sleet. Perhaps it will change again. They don't seem to know what's happening!

  2. Thank you Jessica, it's from Sweden and not cheap at about £25 a metre, but I love it. I'm not sure I'd welcome snow if I lived where you do, it must get a bit tricky with the slopes! Jx
