Granola

One of my new year's resolutions was to eat a proper breakfast ( I won't bore you with the rest as they probably won't last until the end of January!)

A book I used alot last year was this one

There are some fantastic cupcake and other cake recipes in there.  What I have been meaning to make for ages from there is granola.  The recipe in the book makes a huge amount which I have now stored in a large kilner jar.  It is delicious with fresh fruit and a little greek yoghurt.  When my husband saw the baking tray cooling on the worktop he asked hesitantly "are these your normal flapjacks?"!

Thanks for your advice yesterday.  I have now set up a Haggiz shop on Folksy and there is a link in my sidebar.  Next job is to actually put something in the shop!  Have a good weekend. Julie x

  2. I do the same - big jar of muesli that I make up every Sunday morning and that lasts me all week. I just have to make sure that the pistachio thief is not around whilst I am making it!

    2. If the squirrels find the pistachios it WILL be time for a gun...
