Lazy Days

I love the time between Christmas and New Year.  Rising later, going to bed later, the whole day shifts back.     It has been lovely this year,  as I am no longer working at the hospital, I haven't had to work over Christmas.  We have enjoyed gentle days of games, films and just spending time together.

We drove to Aldeburgh today for a walk and a bag of their award winning fish and chips

The shop usually has a huge queue stretching down the road, but was closed when this photo was taken.

The beach is very unspoilt with fishing boats coming in and fresh seafood being sold from huts on the beach

It's the first day since Christmas Eve that it hasn't rained, but it was very windy and blew a few cobwebs away.

Finally, one of my new designs, this little cutie found her way into a very sweet girl's stocking this year.  For the next ones I make I want to redesign the dress, I wasn't entirely happy with it, but she loved her!

  1. Aldeburgh looks lovely. This weather has been so foul. We usually walk a lot at Christmas, but not this year. Cute mouse!

    1. I can't remember it raining on Christmas day like it did this year. It has been really miserable hasn't it. You look like you would have some lovely walks around you, hopefully it will brighten up soon x
